물리학와 화학을 전공했고, 제가 아는 지식을 어떻게 하면 다른사람에게 더 잘 이해시킬 수 있을지 고민하고, 쉽게 풀어 설명하기를 좋아합니다. 제가 물리학을 배우며 깨달았던 것은, 많은 여러가지 물리학 법칙들도 물론 중요하지만 결국 본질은 문제파악과 논리적인 사고능력이 가장 중요하다는 것입니다. 항상 현재 환경에서 개선할 점을 찾으려 노력하고 이를 해결하는 것을 즐깁니다.
현재는 리눅스 기반 병렬컴퓨팅(UoU Arachi & RIKEN Hokusai)을 이용, 주로 2차원 물질의 다양한 특성을 이론적으로 계산하여 분석(DFT)하는 연구를 하고 있습니다. 석사 과정때는 나노수준의 물질들을 합성하여, 이를 활용할 수 있는 분야 중 표면증강라만분광법(SERS)에 관한 연구를 진행했습니다. 최근에는 연구하고 있는 분야와 기계학습(Machine Learning)을 접목시키는 것에 흥미를 가지고 짬짬히 공부중입니다. (연구실 홈페이지 )

I double-majored in Physics and Chemistry, and I keep trying to explain my knowledge easily for other person. I figured out the essentials of physics are not a lot of beautiful principles, but problem identification and logical thinking. So, I seeking an issue in my surrondings and I like to make it better.
Currently, I've been studying various properties of two-dimensional materials by denstiy functional theory (DFT) calculation with Linux-based parallel computing (UoU Arachi & RIKEN Hokusai). Also, I studied surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) using nano-scale sized materials such as hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) and Au nanoparticles. And I hope to adopt machine learning with my domain knowledge, therefore I've been studying about that.
